our story
MIAX was founded in 2010 during the aftermath of the financial crisis when many agencies were forced to close. Michiel de Wijn, our founder, saw this challenging time as an opportunity to create something new and different. Starting from a temporary office in the heart of Amsterdam, Michiel’s vision was clear: to collaborate with local entrepreneurs and innovators, people who, like him, were determined to shape their own futures, experiment, and bring bold ideas to life.
With a rich blend of creative, technical, and marketing expertise, Michiel became a trusted strategist and partner for business leaders, decision-makers, and forward-thinking changemakers.
